When you think about the kind of dishes traditionally associated with people our age, recipes like “Grandma’s Apple Pie,” “Old-Time Scalloped Potatoes” and “Turkey Pot Pie” probably spring to mind. When Emma talks about food being a source of healing, I get the feeling that she is talking about more than our physical health. It seems like she is saying that being mindful about the food that we create and consume is a path to happiness, health and even self-awareness. I couldn’t agree more! Next on my list to try? It’s her “Vietnamese Rice Paper Rolls.” They look exotic, but, they are actually easier than they look to make!
